The GGC Theme night, seventh night of the series – Myanmar’s night which is sponsered by GGC、 Clbc Coworking 、 IFDo青年創新發展社、 Louis International Patent Office、 Louis & Charles Attorneys at Law has been successfully held on 1/20.
The host of the Myanmar night, also GBMA Myanmar Ambassador, Cherry is major in accounting in Fu Jen University. Cherry’s parents are overseas Chinese born in Myanmar, so she can speak Burmese fluently. She also went back to Myanmar with her parents often. We learn a lot from Cherry’s introduction of Myanmar’s culture, religion, which let us understand Myanmar through different perspectives.
Another speaker is WE company Founder, Ivory. Ivory expored Myanmar for importing coffee from Myanmar in 2011. She found that normal trade rules totally can’t be applied on Myanmar including dealing with cash, difficulty of foreign exchange operations.Lots of situation of information asymmetry discourage companies who are interested in Myanmar and lots of hidden costs generate. Through Ivory’s share, it helps a lot for companies who are planning to explore Myanmar.
