Hello everyone!
In 2024, Louis & Charles and Far East Law Firm officially signed a merger agreement, establishing the new law firm, Louis & Charles Attorneys at Law. I am deeply honored to be appointed as the head of the new firm, leading all of you into this bright future.
Reflecting on our journey, Louis International law firm was founded in 2013, and as the first employee, I started serving clients with various intellectual property legal services. In 2014, I spent half of my working hours establishing a law firm in Shanghai, China. Although it failed within a year, it made me realize that the firm’s development requires finding the right team to keep moving forward. From that moment, seeking partners became my top priority in developing the firm.
In 2017, we established an office in Tokyo, Japan. Despite my lack of Japanese language skills, with the strong support of powerful business partners, we maintained client relationships by stationing long-term in Tokyo, ensuring our competitive edge in Japan.
In 2019, we bravely stepped into Southeast Asia, establishing a firm Louis & Partners in Bangkok, Thailand. From overcoming initial language barriers and cultural differences to facing intense market competition, we have surmounted numerous challenges, gradually building our reputation and brand. Today, Louis & Partners has become the largest Taiwanese law firm in Thailand, with the number of lawyers soon surpassing our headquarters in Taipei.
In 2022, to achieve the Great Navigation Plan set in 2018, we opened a new firm in Hanoi, Vietnam, overcoming the many difficulties brought by the pandemic and ensuring the smooth operation of the firm. Every step of our success is the result of the relentless efforts and hard work of all our colleagues.
Here, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to each team member. Your professionalism, selfless dedication, and firm belief have enabled us to continuously grow and thrive in the challenging and opportunity-filled field of law. I firmly believe that with our joint efforts, the new firm will usher in an even more glorious future. Bearing the trust and support of everyone, I will continue to aim for excellence in legal services, constantly improving myself to provide more professional and efficient legal support to our clients.
